PEPI stands for Passion, Edge, Personal Industry, Integrity. These are the basic elements of success.

Passion

True passion manifests itself in being totally involved - immersed. Living it, eating it, sleeping and breathing it!

Edge

A combination of genetic download (for which we may take no personal credit), and that advantage which can be attributed to learning and practice. Social scientist's studies of identical twins separated shortly after birth show that approximately 50% of "what we are" can be attributed to nurture - that which we learn from our own initiatives, our parents and teachers, and 50% to genetics.

Personal Industry

Is the energy and work ethic that compels an individual to focus, with few distractions, on a particular project, whether it be short term - such as writing a paper - or long term - such as a career.

Integrity

A vital element of the achievement equation, as without integrity, achievement is much more easily accomplished and greatly diminished in value, and ethically wrong, and is an empty bag. With integrity it can become a benchmark and example for others.
