Linux Install

My first GNU/Linux install was debian and I still run a debian server.

I was mostly interested in marking up the webpages, but over the years I had to be my own webmaster. So, this lends to my perspective. I once compiled a kernel. Sometimes I go to distrowach and test a new distro. I make a list of the software that I install and in this way virtualize the modern GNU/Linux as with a stack of software.

When I search for Linux distributions I go to DistroWatch.com: "Put the fun back into computing."
